Legacy api needed

Hi,

I am trying to connect Canada Post calculated shipping rates to my WooCommerce website. The Canada Post integration I am using requires the legacy Canada Post Developer Program credentials (API username and password), rather than the API key provided through the new Developer Portal.

I currently have a Canada Post business/customer account and access to the new Developer Portal. Could you please help me obtain or enable legacy Developer Program/Web Services production credentials for my account?

I can provide my Canada Post Customer Number if required.

Thank you!

Hi kind_ofhometeading,

We are enhancing the Developer Program dashboard as part of maintenance activities.

In the meantime, if you require API keys for the legacy Developer Program, please contact our Technical Support Desk at 1-877-376-1212 to have a support ticket created. This step is necessary to verify your identity before credentials can be issued.

Please be prepared to provide your Canada Post customer number when you call.

Many thanks,
The Developer Program team

I already have a support ticket and was told someone would be reaching oht to me with my legacy keys. This is holding up my shipping!!

Hi kind_ofhometeading,

Can you private message me your ticket number?

I’ll track it down and action it right away.

Many thanks

Hope to get this resolved today

Hi Alisha,

Your legacy Developer Program API keys have been sent to you, please check your inbox.

Many thanks,
The Developer Program team

I have been waiting since August 5th on the exact same issue. I’m using WooCommerce and the “Canada Post Live Rates” plugin by Octolize. I called back today and opened up another ticket with Canada Post - to hopefully expedite getting my API credentials - as the onboarding instructions ( Canada Post - How to create an account? - Octolize Docs ) updated August 4th, 2026 - show that once joining the Developer Program - the next screen will include my assigned API keys for username and password. The API keys are not displayed and a message to contact Canada Post support at that phone number is displayed at the top of the screen. Still in a holding pattern here and cannot use Canada Post for shipping quotes on my website until the service request has been fulfilled. :expressionless_face:

Hi @Paul_L

Hi @cpc.admin

I trust that this finds you well.

I am also experiencing the same issue, and I have searched everywhere for the keys and still can’t find them. My ticket number is INC0400400

Looking forward to your response.

Hi @furlashade ,

You should now have joined the legacy Developer Program and have access to your API keys.

You can access your account again by using the forgot password function on our website.

Many thanks,
The Developer Program team

Hi Canada Post Developer Program Team,

I am trying to integrate Canada Post live shipping rates into our WooCommerce website. Our WooCommerce integration requires the Legacy Developer Program credentials (Production API Username and Password), rather than the new Developer Portal API Key and Secret.

We already have an active Canada Post business account and have successfully created a Production app in the new Developer Portal.

Could you please enable our account for the Legacy Developer Program and provide access to the Legacy Production API credentials?

Customer Number: ### (admin: removed sensitive information).
Company: Industrial Pioneer Trade Inc.

Thank you.

Hi iptradeinc.com.

I have removed your customer number from this post, please never reveal them publicly as they are sensitive information that could compromise your account security.

I’ve messaged your privately in order to continue the discussion.

Many thanks,
The Developer Portal team
