Hello,
I’m trying to integrate Canada Post live shipping rates into my WooCommerce website using the official Canada Post Shipping for WooCommerce plugin by Small Fish Analytics.
The plugin requires a Production API Username and Production API Password.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- I have a Canada Post Solutions for Small Business account.
- I joined the Canada Post Developer Program.
- I can sign in to the new Developer Portal.
- I created a Production application.
- I received a Client Key and Secret Key.
However, the WooCommerce plugin does not accept those credentials. It specifically asks for an API Username and API Password.
I also checked the legacy Developer Program page, but I cannot find any Production API Username or Password there. The Getting Started documentation says these credentials should appear on the main Developer Program page after joining, but they do not appear for my account.
My questions are:
- How do I obtain my Production API Username and Production API Password?
- Are these legacy Web Services credentials still available?
- If they are no longer available, is the Small Fish Analytics WooCommerce plugin compatible with the new Client Key and Secret Key from the Developer Portal, or is there another recommended method for connecting WooCommerce to Canada Post live shipping rates?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
